Jackie Lan is a Senior Underwriter at QBE Insurance in Singapore, specializing in Hull & Liability. She was elected to the IUMI Ocean Hull Committee in 2024, where she strives to make her share of contribution to shape best practices and address emerging industry challenges within marine insurance industry.

She holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management, which complements her deep understanding of maritime logistics, risk dynamics, and financial strategy. Her academic background has nurtured a broad, systems-level perspective and an open mindset toward innovation—particularly in the application of technology across the insurance value chain. Jackie is especially interested in how data analytics, digital platforms, and automation can enhance underwriting accuracy and operational efficiency in marine insurance.
